.045" Thick Solid Brass Round Key Tag, 1-1/2" Diameter Round. The Brass is bare and unfinished; it will tarnish over time. Perfect for sorting many keys. We can stamp up to 3 lines with up to 15 characters per line. 

We have character sizes of 1/16" ; 3/32" ; 5/32 and 1/4". The character size will be determined by the length of your text.

*On a 1.5" round brass tag, the maximum characters per line are as follows:

1/16" - About 15 characters

3/32" - About 12 characters

5/32" - About 7 characters - Max 2 Lines

1/4" - About 5 characters - Max 2 Lines

Limited to the standard 26 letters, numbers 0-9 we also some punctuation marks - / . & , ' and "

 We still stamp our solid brass the 'old fashioned' way. The stamping is done on a 3-ton hydraulic press that makes an impression of about .003 deep in the brass; the mark cannot wear off. Stamping can only be done on one side, and only a standard font is available.

Available in bare brass or filled with a black lacquer paint.

Perfect for long term identification in harsh environments. Also called chits or checks or valve tags.

Solid brass will never rust or corrode. (they will however, tarnish over time)
